Tom Baker — "Arrival by Water"

Tom Baker is not one artist, but many: a creative collective that, together with a personified algorithm, explores the limits and possibilities of artificial intelligence. The algorithm named itself — and was, as the collective puts it, “designed to evolve.” At Lake Como, Tom Baker compresses what would otherwise never come together: pop iconography, the Italian Riva-Riviera mood, a pose drawn from the superhero canon. Tom Baker spins threads between worlds: Spiderman steps off a mahogany speedboat, mountains, villas, and water behind him. The collective works on the meta level — comic universes commenting on one another, fantasy and reality flowing into each other, creative freedom meeting technical precision.

Werner Pawlok — "Solar Luz y Compostela"

Werner Pawlok takes the viewer into the heart of Havana – into the decaying sugar palaces, where the joie de vivre of the Caribbean metropolis and the spirit of bygone eras merge. In his Cuba – Expired series, he captures the morbid charm of the city and, at the same time, the vitality of its inhabitants. A lost world that lingers on in his images – bittersweet, atmospheric, full of life. Pawlok is a modern photographic explorer who has traded the sketchbook for the camera. Exhibitions alongside Warhol, Richter, Mapplethorpe, and Polke have placed him in the company of contemporary masters.

Szymon Brodziak — "Gelato al Colosseo"

One of the most important voices of a new generation of black-and-white photography. Brodziak composes images like film scenes that were never shot — he treats light as a language, not a tool. In Rome, in front of the Colosseum, he distils a summer moment into three frames: a gelato, a glance, a second that cannot hold in the heat. The triptych tells what a single image could not. He is the first Polish artist to be exhibited at the Helmut Newton Foundation. Honoured as “World’s Best Black & White Campaign Photographer” in Cannes, and ranked first at the One Eyeland Award as one of the ten best black-and-white photographers worldwide.
