Volta Design brings movement into art – and stillness into a space. Founded in Paris by Otxo Amade, the design brand creates sculptural mobiles that combine geometric precision with an almost weightless elegance. Inspired by 20th-century kinetic art and the refined aesthetics of midcentury design, its works do more than decorate a space: They interact with it.
Handcrafted from aluminum and steel in Volta's Barcelona workshop, each sculpture is meticulously balanced by hand. Even the slightest breeze sets its delicate elements in motion, while changing light creates an ever-evolving interplay of shadows. In this way, Volta transforms solid metal into fluid compositions that continually respond to their surroundings.
